Who We Are

At She Built This City, family comes first, prioritizing our well-being both physically and emotionally. We strongly believe in the power of partnerships, as they enable us to have a maximum impact on the community.

Our Core Values

Embracing a nimble approach, we stay true to our mission while exploring untapped opportunities, free from competition, through the "blue ocean strategy." We are dedicated to elevating the voices of disenfranchised populations and advocating for equity, diversity, and inclusion in all spaces we engage with. Running together as a cohesive team, we move at a pace that allows us all to achieve victory together.

Our focus is clear: JOBS. We aim to create pathways to employment for women in the trades, making it the ultimate goal of all our initiatives and partnerships. For us, numbers matter because they represent people, jobs, and lives impacted. We are results-oriented, knowing that each success means a better future for individuals and their families. By supporting one another and putting people first, we are on a powerful mission to transform lives and build a brighter future.

“Today, women make up just a third of the manufacturing workforce and only 8% of the construction workforce overall, a percentage that has remained stubbornly constant. Over half of these women are in sales and office jobs. “
