She Built This City’s mission is to provide industry disruptive programming that sparks interest and builds pathways to lucrative careers in the skilled trades for youth, women and marginalized communities.

Our Vision is to dismantle barriers and stigmas in traditionally male-dominated industries through innovative, sustainable practices that prepare us for a future of jobs that have yet to be created.

Our pledge 50/50 by 2030 is a pledge for equity in the trades and that means FULL equity. Therefore, in addition to increasing the number of women in the industry we must also address the challenges and problems that put people in the industry at a disadvantage.
